UTILIZATION

The handle is truly remarkable, pleasant and relatively fast.
Access to acute here is very simple and does not creak a bit.
The guitar does absolutely no pic of the nose, it's very light (this was my first surprise at the reception)
So with regard to the sound, I have a AVT 50 and well clear sound is simply outstanding (facilitated by the control contour), and the distortion sound you can hear the nuances and really gives some something quite aggressive and at the same time asked. In short you can go to a big rock to blues a little nice.

SOUNDS

I bought this guitar to be played in the big sound, I am delighted.
The pickups are very typical Hard Rock / Metal the same (normal is a gothik).
With a Boss MT-2 Compressor and a small one is home to Marshall Aung.
The sound is very clean and has so many possibilities, this guitar is ideal for all and really versatile (A little funk for example)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for one month now.
What I like most is his great look, its versatile sound, ergonomics particular.
I tried a lot of models in different brands (Fender, Ibanez, Gibson, Epiphone ...) but I admit that with such microphones and unbeatable price if I did not hesitate long?
In short, I highly recommend this guitar and above that mark.

Very good violin throughout, very easy to change strings, it might have missed a vibrato but not too much in mind, perhaps ...

UTILIZATION

- Being a bit like Les Paul, this guitar is perfect for large good rhythm (as well as Metal Reggae). But, perhaps due to a compromise between a Les Paul and an SG, this guitar provides access to acute IDEAL! Easy to move from a big fat rhythm to a good solo or soft and tender, or tapping a small family followed by a nice arpeggio ... The handle is very nice, hard to leave!
- Very versatile guitar. It was one of my search, and I must say that I am not disappointed! I can play everything on this guitar, it's done! It is suitable for solo guitar as rhythmic and almost every style.
- Although it is considered in the category "Other" Idol's Gothika is as I said a bit of a compromise between a Les Paul and SG. It is thinner than a Les Paul, more than a SG, much lighter than a Les Paul, SG unless (it does absolutely no pic of the nose), the rhythmic pass like a Les Paul, the SG as a solo ...
- It is very easy to get a good sound (with microphones like a violin and quality ^ ^).

- Yes, Seymour Duncan United States! Big double its insured with microphones, the ideal (to be enjoyable), a very clean and sharp!
- When you want to switch to lighter sounds, do not worry, a little gem called VCC allows you to split the pickups of your choice (in other words the "transform" into microphones simple), we obtain a more crystalline . - I play a Roland Cube 15 (there's no more basic), and a Zoom 606 effects that helps my amp well rotted ^ ^ I go through lots of styles, needless to say that Hard we are sure to find its happiness!

OVERALL OPINION

- I own this guitar for 2 days (so I edit as needed me ^ ^) and I'm really pleased.
- I love its versatility, great handle, special ergonomics, its sounds, its style, as a whole, the violin ... I can not find a single flaw. Oh yes, perhaps the absence of incrustations (cases 3,5,7,9,12 ...) that would have been desirable to find me more easily (as we must get used to it quickly). Well there are of very small on the side (useful when playing bass guitar), but it is not enough. (Oula it really is a detail: p)
- A great value! My budget could not achieve the 600-700 (the price to which are the first guitaes excellent). And since I wanted a good guitar anyway, I came across this Washburn Wi65 Idol Gothika and I found my happiness
- I tried a G400, a Les Paul Studio Gothic ... but I wanted a better model with little more than my budget, I am fallen!
- With experience (admittedly Tree Court xD), I would do this choice, yes, I have no regrets. Do not be fooled by the allure of the brand, focusing on quality first! I like this guitar, I like the look, everything I like! And yet I had no idea before that Washburn.

UTILIZATION

Very pleasant neck for playing rhythm parts or solos.

Access to the upper frets is good but you'll find better.

The weight is ok. I used to have an Ibanez which was three times as heavy. However this guitar is not what I'd call light...

The shape of the body is not a problem when you play sitting.

It's very easy to get a good sound and you'll get your own tone after spending some time with the VCC.

SOUNDS

That's THE most important point =)

I play mainly heavy metal (Metallica) and hard rock (Van Halen) although I also play funk, rock, blues, etc...

After six months of use, I haven't found a style where this guitar sounds bad. It's excellent for heavy metal, rock and hard rock, funk. The clean sound is pleasant if you adjust the controls to avoid a too twangy sound.

I've played with a 25 watt Fender, a 5 watt Marshall (-_-), a 15 watt Line 6 III and soon with a Randall RGT50 (I will update this review if necessary).

Depending on the amp, you'll a get a perfect crystal-clear clean sound with the neck pickup and a low contour setting.

For blues sound, use the center position and play with the VCC.

For hard rock tunes simply use the bridge pickup.

For heavy metal and solo parts use the bridge pickup and turn the volume fully up!!

My favorite settings: bridge pickup and VCC providing a single coil for an almost acoustic clean sound; neck pickup with distortion for melodic riffs.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using it for six months and I always take it with me.

I love its versatility although it's designed for metal freaks.

I previously tested a Fender and a Lag (I can't recall their names...) but they were not fantastic.

Exceptional value for money for the version with Seymour Duncan pickups.

Based on my experience... I'm sure I would buy it again.

I give it a 9 in everything since a guitar in this price range cannot be perfect xD
