Tonehammer has announced the release of two new sample libraries for Kontakt: The Ranch and Luminabells.

The Ranch
The Ranch is an eclectic collection of exotic “instruments” derived from a Ranch in the Pacific Northwest. Carrying on the spirit of geographic sonic exploration found in the Roadtrip, Rust and Antidrum series, this new collection covers a variety of found-sounds and environmental textures, rebuilt and reassembled into playable musical instruments

You’ll find things like a “tuned” plow, a scrapyard session, old iron bells, storm winds and windchimes, hissing sprinklers, crickets, birds, bees, percussive foosball tables, footsteps in grass, gravel and dirt, golf carts, hay-balers and many other unusual instruments.

Custom control, FX knobs and 45 hand-made convolution impulses offer free range. Included are experimental FX presets based on the original source.

Details:

  • 31 nki instruments.
  • 975 samples (44kHz/24-bit stereo).
  • 45 bonus impulses.
  • 620 MB.

Luminabells
Luminabells is a sample collection of over 40 lightbulbs of all shapes and sizes, sculpted into a collection of resonant tuned percussion, as well as percussive glass and metal taps, clicks, pings, bounces, shakes, filament rattles and tuned hums, buzzes and drones

Included is a special FX section, with ambiences, sustaining melodic tones and otherworldly effects. All presets come with special performance and FX controls to shape the sound, as well as 45 custom convolution impulses.

Details:

  • 71 nki instruments.
  • 1511 samples (44kHz/24bit stereo).
  • 45 bonus impulses.
  • 663 MB.

Both The Ranch and Luminabells require Kontakt versions 3.5 or 4. Kontakt Player does not support this library.

Pricing and Special Bundle Offer
Both libraries are available for $35 each, or you can purchase together at a special bundle price of $59 until October 1st, 2010.
