Ploytec attended Musikmesse 2013 where they introduced the Pi L Squared (∏λ²) pocket synth prototype which is controlled via MIDI.
Pi L Squared synth is MIDI powered and a RCA output is present on the little box. Ploytec uses analogue synthesis with a squared waveform, then the signal passes through analogue and digital filter in order to create aliasing and noise.
Multiple MIDI commands are allowed and for this duophonic synth and Ploytec will include 32 preset and 32 user patches.
The availability has not been confirmed, nor the final price which could be between 64 to 99€. More info soon at www.ploytec.com.
