SampleScience introduces its very first plug-in, a VST and AU instrument that uses sound generated by early 60s computers.
The 27 types of sounds included in Thales Model I will remind of what Mellotron and other tape keyboards could produce. SampleScience adds that this tones come from the public domain and are not clean, so you’ll also hear tape noises and hisses.
The GUI offers volume, ADSR and pitch bend controls as well as an LFO and a reverb.
The VST and AU 32 and 64-bit plug-in for Windows and Mac OS X is available for £6.99 at www.sampleism.com. You can also download a free demo with 4 sounds.
