Sick V is a 4GB library featuring 8 .nki instruments for the full version of Kontakt 5, with 1452 samples in WAV 24-bit / 48kHz format. You can unlock the Kontakt presets and WAV samples to customize the sounds.
The collection includes a selection of melodic and percussive sounds as well as ambiences, soundscapes, pads and drones to cover sci-fi, horror and mystery sound and music projects.
The instruments are organized in 5 categories, all were recorded with adjustable close and far mic positions:
- Astral Dirge Pipe is a kind of multi-key tuned didgeridoo, with chromatic sustains, staccatos and effects
- Channeling Tube: a Thunder Tube played percussively and semi-chromatically by plucking the strings at different lengths
- Conjuring Bells: a pair of chimes that can create wah wah effects
- Spectral Moaner: a droning wind instrument to create harmonic sounds
- Demon String: an acoustic guitar with resonant synthesis and a percussive part
Each preset includes multiple controls, an effect rack and convolutions.
Sick V has an introductory price of $39 instead of $59 until Novembre 10th, it is also available in the Sick Bundle with the 4 other Sick collections, also available at the special price of $102 instead of $149 for Halloween.
