Published on 12/29/04 at 15:00I got this of ebay for 315 bux. Not Bad. The shipping was 90 bux cuz its one heavy amp.
The sound of this thing is awesome. It has 2 preamp tubes which make it sound really good. The distortion on the mesa models are really good. The studio quality effects are also good except for the compression. Its loud - 150 watts, 2x12 speakers.
It is a little hard to figure out. Its kinda heavy - 80 lbs. The compression is not that good so i got the digitech xms compressor - helps a lot. Also, its 150 watts but its got two celestion vintage 30s (nice speakers). These are each 60 watts so if you crank the amp, the speakers will blow - get an extension cab if you need to play that loud.

Good quality. The manual is kinda hard to figure out so join the yahoo group.
Awesome amp. This is the only amp you'll ever need. Buy it!
