The Line 6 Spider III 120 is a modeling combo guitar amp. It is solid state based and contains a variety of different effects and amp modeling. It has 12 custom amp models to choose from with a slew of effects like delay, chorus, flanger, tremolo, and reverb. The Line 6 Spider III 120 has a 1/4 inch input and has a large number of artist and song based presets to choose from. It also has the ability for the user to put in their own presets as well. There are a variety of parameters on the Line 6 Spider III 120 to get the exact tone you are looking for.
UTILIZATION
The configuration of the Line 6 Spider III 120 is very easy to follow and will only take a little while to get used to it. Since there is such an array of different tones, getting a tone you are looking for is pretty easy. The manual for the Line 6 Spider III 120 is pretty thorough and is probably help to have around if you are a beginner.
SOUNDS
The sounds on the Line 6 Spider III 120 are extremely varied with all of the different effects and amp modeling available. However, while the sounds are good and useful, most of them don't blow me away and aren't extremely realistic sounding. However, for the beginner or intermediate player looking to experiment with different tones, the Line 6 Spider III 120 works perfect and will exceed expectations. However, I wouldn't recommend it for professionals because I don't think the sound quality is up to par.

I've been using the Line 6 Spider III 120 for about two years and have found it to be a useful amp. It's price makes it an attractive option for amateurs, and I wouldn't really recommend it for professionals as I'm not a huge fan of the sound quality.
