Best value:
Excellent
Doc and information on the DV Mark site.
This is a transistor amp head, with conventional guitar amp settings.
There are three channels, integrated effects, effects loop mono output, modeling loudspeakers for use in the studio or on stage (plugged directly into a PA).
The connection is complete, one can only regret the absence of a stereo effects loop.
It can connect to any type of speaker (several impedances) and audio installation, this is the big advantage.
UTILIZATION
The amp is very easy to use, the documentation is almost non-existent, but it's OK.
There are amp modeling for each channel. We can start by playing with the presets installed, download those artists on the site of DV Mark and modify them or create your own sounds.
I started using it myself plugging directly into a sound card, stereo. The sound is very nice and sounds right away.
I then bought the cabinet DV DV Mark neoclassic 212, and it became much more interesting. We find the power and volume of an amp. It does not compare with the sounds of the lamps (there is excellent amp transistor and metal bands use only modeling), I found a real pleasure to play. The dynamic is good, cleans perfect crunch very convincing and brilliant as high gain.
SOUNDS
There are two facets to this amp. The sounds with modeling speaker, microphones, mic position ... and the conventional use with a guitar cabinet.
I play with a Schecter (2 humbuckers) and a US strat (3 single pickups). I can easily get metal sounds, hardcore, prog, jazz, in short almost everything. The pad is useful in my case as the Schecter has a higher level of output than the strat.
I must say I was very impressed with the modeling of Soldano and Bogner Ecstasy.
I like all the sounds you can do cleans cruncher in guitar volume. The multiamp permits, the dynamics are respected. The sounds are all of good quality, never showy, and positive, there is very little breath on the big distortion, noise gate effect is present, which is also an advantage for metal riffs.
Editing sounds is used to select an amp, and effects that can be put before or after the amp and we earn little. (You can choose a delay, reverb, and chorus for example, but not two simultaneous reverbs).
The effects are honest. Simulations tube screamer, blues driver and compressors are very successful. The chorus, flange, phaser and tremolo (which I never use in general) are nice, it's clean. The delays are the more elaborate effects, there are stereo effects, with many opportunities for rhythmic divisions. U2 fans will find them.
DV Mark updates and adds effects and amps from time to time with the update to install via an SD card. That's a good point.
Youtube videos are starting to multiply, they give a good overview of the capabilities of the machine.
I found this very successful with use with speaker amp.
OVERALL OPINION
I think it is a serious ran to fractal because it is cheaper for a more honest result. It is also in my opinion, much more realistic and that professional modeling Line ***, there are no superfluous or useless effects sounds. It goes straight to the point, all sounds are usable.
I think the value for money is excellent, then he must expect the product to the guitarist. Guitarist prom, pop or metal can find his account.
I bought this amp on a whim.
Personally, I think back to a small amp lamp a little cheaper, some good pedals and a unique sound. It's always in my opinion, the disadvantage of this kind of material was spoiled for choice in settings and sounds can be at the expense of creativity.
