Monster Standard 100 Instrument Cable
Published on 06/13/10 at 15:00I have had a few other different sizes 6 and 10 ft.
I have gotten a few off these over the years and I have never had a problem with them.
From my experience with these cables, they are great and sound good, they are not that expensive compared to other higher quality cables and I have had a few of these and never had an issue. They also have colored circles to put on the end of the cables to help organize them, which can help if you have some effects pedals or other musicians with similar looking cables.

I have seen reviews online of people complaining that these cables are not durable and brake easily. However I have not have any of these problems, but based on the volume of these reviews, I would that some cables are defective.
From what I have seen the construction is solid, and I have never had any issues with the cables shorting out and breaking in anyway like I have with some cheaper cables.
I think these cables are on par with other monster cables and are a good deal. They have a lifetime warranty on these cables and you can get a replacement if anything goes wrong. I never had one break but I have seen reviews that other people have, so its good to know you you can always get a replacement.

I've used these cables for a variety of different applications, but primarily in the studio and on the stage for use with electric guitar. I've also used them in the studio for keyboards and bass guitar. These are great all purpose cables and they come in a variety of different lengths if I'm not mistaken. These cables are built extremely well and are definitely some that will last a long time, especially in a studio environment where they won't see any hard gigging damage done. Monster has built up a reputation as being one of the best, if not the best when it comes to making cables of all shapes and sizes. I've always liked their work and definitely feel secure in my connections when I'm using these Standard 100 Instrument Cables. The one in the picture above has the right angle on one end, but I'm pretty sure that there are some in this series that have both ends straight, although we do have both styles on hand and I may be confusing them with another type. While these might not be as cheap as some other instrument cables out there, the Monster Cable Standard 100 Instrument Cables are worth the extra dough in my opinion since they'll undoubtedly last a while and really aren't that much more. I'll usually use either these Monster cables or Planet Waves, as I believe that these are the sturdiest instrument cables that we have at the studio where I work. These are definitely worth knowing about if you're looking for some instrument cables for any sort of use.See less00
