To participate in the contest, you must create a 2-minute or longer audio demo in which you will use only the instruments and presets of the EastWest Steve Wilson’s Ghostwriter library (a 10-day trial version can be downloaded for free here, but you must have an active account at www.soundsonline.com or soundsonline Europe and an iLok USB dongle). The demo must be posted to the Facebook Contest page before June 30th.
The best 10 demos will be chosen by the public (the sooner you post, the longer people can vote for you), then Steven Wilson and Doug Rogers themselves will choose the three grand winners. Results we’ll be announced on July 15th and the winners will receive the full licence of Ghostwriter as well as two tickets each for the Wilson’s concert in their area, with a Meet and Greed session after the show. They will also see their creations become Ghostwriter “official demos” with copyrights.
EastWest motivates participants by offering them a 50% discount on the sound library if they don’t win.
Good luck!
