Pop Keys features samples of various acoustic pianos, including a Bechstein MP192 german grand piano, as well as electric models and keyboards that were made by combining sampling and synthesis (Harpsichord, clav, etc.).
The particularity in Pop Keys is its dual layer system that allows for mixing the sound of two instruments in order to create new piano tones. The custom GUI in Kontakt also offers various adjustments and effects for further sonic tweaking: attack, release, decay, EQ, tremolo, pan, as well as compressors, chorus, phaser, delay and reverb in the effect section.
In total, Pop Keys includes 150 .nki instruments for Kontakt 5.3 and later, and 1451 samples at 24-bit / 44.1kHz.
The library is available for the introductory price of 22.99€ / $29.99 / £18.99 until the end of February, regular pricing is 44.99€ / $59.99 / £36.99. Audio demos are available at luxonix.com/pop_keys.html.
