Ernie Ball spilled the beans and posted on its website the pictures of the final version of the Music Man John Petrucci Signature Majesty guitar.
Details of this new guitar are still to come, but the main news is that the Majesty features a brand new body design. According to Petrucci, the top is made of maple and laser etched in order to give, along with the finish, a “carbon fiber” look. The artist also says that the guitar uses DiMarzio pickups and a Game Changer switch is included.
The pictures, that we reproduce here, show two Mate Metallic Blue and Mystic finishes (the blue one is inspired by the color of a famous german car manufacturer). Steve Lukather seems quite happy about this new axe:
