Let’s start the week with a free sample library from 99Sounds, which includes everything you need for sound design.
Sound Design Tools features 324 samples and 36 drum loops in 24-bit WAV format, as well as a Reaktor patch. 99Sounds adds that they will soon update the library in order to include the Kontakt instruments and SFZ patches they usually offer with they free sound banks.
All the sounds included in Sound Design Tools were created by sound designer Gavin Thibodeau, aka Embra, and cover a wide variety of styles, from foley sounds to futuristic effects, glitches, hydraulic engine mechanical sounds and abstract textures.
The library is available for free download at 99sounds.org along with an interview of Embra.
