Here is the presentation of Alvaro 40 which is a small classical guitar as we like.
Manufactured in: Spain
Soundboard: Solid cedar
Bottom and éclises: Sapelli
Neck: African Mahogany
Key: Mongoy
Bridge: Mongoy
I bought this guitar on Saturday to attend classes at the academy of music, and I must say I am very happy.
UTILIZATION
So, as said above, I bought the guitar for Saturday courses, and here are my notes after two days of tests varied. This is my first classic, so I can not compare with others of its kind, but I can compare with my Folk Art & Lutherie and my Squier electric.
At the neck is very nice, does not pull the frets, the wood is quite soft, the varnish does not stick and nylon strings are really much softer than metal strings: P
As with all guitars of this type, access to acute must be almost impossible, for there is no cutaway. There are still way to do this, but it requires much training and hands immense.
In sound, big surprise. I try and looking in stores, compared with much cheaper guitars and clearly it was worth it. The look is really great, and I feel that I still play it long.
Of course, I did not compare with guitars to 500 € and more.
SOUNDS
Then, no risk, if you like classical guitar, it gives much. I confess that I prefer the good big sound at the base and I just wanted a guitar to class, but when I saw the one and heard what she gave, I had absolutely that the . I still hesitate with Alvaro 39, which should give more or less the same sound, but aesthetical was a little less beautiful.
OVERALL OPINION
A very good guitar to start and probably go a little further, it is really fun to play, very comfortable and gives very good sound.
I use it for two days, so it is possible that by then I eral it, but I like it really hard.
I try some other guitars, which was not massive tables, and the slap was really. I can not say that I try a lot of classic models, but this one really appealed to me.
The price / quality ratio seems very very good. € 275 for the guitar is really well done, the sound is very good and it really makes you want to play.
And yes, I probably would do the same choice as the look and sound of this guitar are really great. Now we must see if in time they will manage to fulfill all my desires, but I am very confident: P
