I bought it new at a very low price. I was lucky, I bought it after the 2008 model was already available so the store wanted to get rid of the older models. The shop assistant even installed a bone bridge nut and adjusted the action.

UTILIZATION

I was anxious before trying it out because I hadn't played nylon strings for 25 years. It reminded me of my old classical guitar when I first started out. But the neck is quite slim even if it's thicker than a folk guitar (and only slightly thicker than a Gibson folk). With this neck and nylon strings, the guitar is easy to handle.

It's very light and not bulky, which make it ergonomic and not tiring at all. The acoustic tone is just like Lavilliers on Fortalerza. The electro-acoustic sound is faithful to the acoustic one if you choose the right settings on the Fishman preamp, and on your amp. I personally like playing in front of a good microphone to get a "woodier" sound.

SOUNDS

This guitar perfectly fits my needs and belongs to my essential guitars. It has a Latin sound character even if you play the blues. It makes you want to boogie. I've been a Lavilliers fan since the beginning so I'm very happy to play a replica of his own guitar. This instrument became my main songwriting instrument. I also use it to practice. I play it for virtually all demo tapes I make using only one guitar, and for acoustic solos.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using it for about six months. This guitar has the Lavilliers look and I believe it matches pop, folk and rock sounds with salsa and samba rhythms, just like the man who inspired its design. I like its looks with the signature on the head and the way it sounds with the typical crystal-clear nylon response and a slight crunch on the low-end.

I would definitely buy it again and I'm actually planning to buy the 2008 model.

Excellent value for money (and even more so for me since I got it discounted). The small aging marks on the fingerboard varnish give it a charming touch!!!

The finish is a bit "sloppy" to craft a guitar (cracked glaze at various points in junctions and a small trace of glue at the junction of the handle) I will not go higher than a 8 / 10 on the characteristics.

UTILIZATION

The neck is slightly thinner than a "classic" traditional, which makes it very pleasant and very easy access to a regular model folks.
Access to acute is no problem until the 13th cargo must be beyond the long fingers and some skill or at least a little getting used to this kind of guitar.
Ergonomics is absolutely perfect (no worries whatsoever balance while sitting or standing with a strap). In addition it is a lightweight to the point that one can perfectly play up without strap although it is not used to exercise. In short, it is very easy to play!
Plugged directly into a PA, we get a good sound directly ... on an electro-acoustic amp should moderate the mediums and push the bass.
In pure sound, the projection is a bit feeble but the sound is very faithful to that Lavilliers ...
It is a very versatile classic at the sound palette that is worth a 9 / 10

SOUNDS

Although versatile for a guitar-based "classic", personally I do not use primarily for the pieces while arpeggios. To my taste this guitar lacks a little punch and resonance for pure acoustic rhythm (a cutaway it counts on a guitar of this size).
The sounds of predilections are really those of Bernard Lavilliers, which after all has a rather large directory on its own ... If you like the sound Lavilliers, it's really that, it deserves a good 9 / 10 in my opinion!

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for two and a half years now.
I really like the handle but I regret a little lack of punch in acoustics.
This guitar is generally of good quality but, for exclusivity (only 120 copies) and the homemade, I do not, however, excites me more than that ... the price is really the signature (beautifully engraved on the top of the handle, by the way)? It's hard to say ... Alhambra, Esteve Admira or offer lower-priced guitars just as attractive now.
This Gallato / Conde is undoubtedly a very good guitar "electro-classic" mid-range but with hindsight I would add a "no more" because of the rather questionable quality of violin making.
