I bought this to learn to play gypsy jazz but it is versatile enough for other styles.. Bass generous, ideal for rhythmn and good sustain. The sound depends greatly on the right hand technique. Sounds very gypsy with a strong attack when played near the bridge .Sounds rather American jazz (in the style of Charlie Christian ) by picking near the fretboard.It is a true acoustic jazz guitar with no need for amplification (It would be almost heresy to play 'round midnight on it) for jamming almost anywhere.
OVERALL OPINION
I have used it for 6 months. Compared to Gallato, Angelo Debarre and Castellucia at 1300€ it's less specialised and more versatile. When the quality for the money is considered, I would make the same choice again.
