Hohner HW200
Published on 02/21/06 at 15:00First guitar, my parents paid close to $105 for it, i believe
Since it was my first guitar, i have nothing to really compare it too. SInce it only has 12 fretson the exposed neck, it's a little smaller than some, but it suits me just fine and i love the sound.
It dosent play as easily as my dad's Yamaha, but that's the only complaint i have.
The strings show some wear in the frets i use most often.
solid wood, not sure what type.
A good first acoustic for any beginner.

Hohner HW 200
Published on 06/01/02 at 15:00I was thinkin of gettin into guitar, so i went to Scotts Music and bought this guitar because it was nice looking and not to big. I payed $150 Canadian for this guitar.
Its very light, the frets are easy to play on. Tunes very easily, doesnt go outa tune easy. Is pretty too look at and the paint job is good. It gets pretty loud for an acoustic, it comes with copper strings and a nice pickguard and for the money its very good. Ive bumped it about 20 times and there arent any dents.
The strings buzz when you go past the 12th fret, and if u strum it really hard it wont come out clearly but thats expected.

very well built, its made out of very durable wood (no idea what kind), its very strong, smooth sounding and as fun to learn on as it is to play.
if you cant afford much and/or are just starting out this is a superb guitar to start on. for $150 CANADIAN you cant beat it.
