Installation is no problem it?
With 8.04 LTS, the installation is very simple, is Droulez quickly (in 20 minutes done), all hardware is recognized IMMEDIATE including Delta 66 sound card, everything works the first time, Jack server, software (Ardour etc ...) ...
Have you experienced any incompatibility?
I met the problem (M-Audio sound card not DTECT) with version 9.04, which is why I urge you to use an LTS release (the date is in dernire 8.04).
