« I use Ubuntu since 2006! »
Published on 11/10/13 at 12:16installation on a PC is no problem in about thirty minutes, it is guided, everything is translated into French.
configuration is very easy, each time the hardware is well recognized.
in my case:
for the Nvidia card, the proprietary driver is installed later easily, webcam Trust, Epson ...
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
PC is a bit old, I know that the processor is an AMD Athlon 1800 Nvidia graphics card
5600 motherboard with integrated sound, so say a lightning war, but the PC is running well and is not too slow, startup is fast enough with the lighter Lubuntu version. there are applications galore via the package manager.
OVERALL OPINION
I use Linux since 2006, I have tested almost all distributions at this time
I use as stated above an Ubuntu variant called Lubuntu, which gives me fully
satisfaction.en more it's free, with a tower at 70 euros secondhand rolling!
in addition, this system is immune to viruses guaranteed.
but I also have my son and my wife another recent PC with Windows seven, it takes all tastes.
Long live Linux!
