Published on 08/13/13 at 03:09For installation on an iMac, it has not been easy but it was mostly due to the keyboard and mouse bouetooth.
If not it was rather
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
It was on an iMac i3 12GB ram, apart from the problem of keyboard installation, everything went well.
It is a fluid and stable version of Windows. I mostly bought because it was probably the last time that I could upgrade from XP.
I did not encounter any particular problem with the equipment
OVERALL OPINION
It's been a year, but I use little.
The "tiles" mode is confusing at first, but we made it. Contrary to many opinions on the Web, I think it's a pretty good version of Windows, it is quite stable and very fluid.
I had a few surprises, except install some sound drivers which it is obliged to try again several times.
The black dot are made incessant day, one of them to the manager undermined "Bootcamp".
Maybe I'm getting rapped on the knuckles by the critic of Windows 8, but I must admit that this version surprised me by its stability and fluidity.
on the other hand audio and mainly USB, problems are always the same: higher latency, few events offset between audio and MIDI and some problems installing some drivers including the Steinberg CI.
I will not make my main platform, I much prefer using OS Unix philosophy: Mac OS and Linux music for the development and exploitation.
