Nothing's confirmed, but AudioFanzineFR's Red Led has spotted in Vox & Korg's joint booth what might well be a modernized version of the Continental.
No detailed had surfaced until now about the possible return of the Vox Continental, even if a (finally aborted) project of that kind had been evoked back in 2008 at the… NAMM. Yet, it seems this one project is a little more advanced, with Korg even mentioning it would be equipped with their NuTube technology.
Unfortunately, Red Led didn’t have an opportunity to try the instrument and didn’t obtain precise details either as to the whereabouts of the project, but we’ll keep you informed as soon as we know more. In the meantime, here are a few pics:
