Crossfire Designs has announced the release of MIDIPadz Lite, a free, simple and easy to use drumpad controller for the iPad.
MIDIPadz Lite sports 16 drumpads on four pages. It has a large X/Y controller pad on the bottom and the iPad’s rotation is sent as controller values as well. MIDIPadz Lite supports USB MIDI (over the iPad camera adapter) and Network MIDI. No 3rd party software required for the MIDI connection.
MIDIPadz Lite is free. A paid version is planned and user requests are welcome, as they will likely find their way in to the full version.
