Korean guitar style mid-electric mid-electro.

The box is sized hollow-body. Type ES (Gibson), AS (Ibanez).

The woods used are:
- Alstonia (Devil Tree) for the back and sides
- For the table Bubinga
- Mahogany for the neck (only 1 piece type Gibson)
- Rosewood for the key

LR Baggs-signed electronic (piezo) and Kent Armstrong (for lipstick)

The preamp has volume, bass, mid, treble, reverse phase, battery check.

The tuners are chrome Grover kind and have a 18:1 ratio

The neck is satin finish, the rest of the instrument is high-gloss polyurethane varnish.

Finishes flawlessly on my instrument.

UTILIZATION

Relatively small, it plays sitting or standing without worry.
After a small adjustment to the bridge (to lower the action), the handle is a highway. Very nice in hand with the satin finish and its form (what I would call Gibson type). The transition from one type of sound to another is easy, a simple slider on the preamp can do this.
The tuning can be ultra-precise, the ratio of 18:1 for the mechanical. These are strong and flexible. Good quality.
Small defects: pre-amp could accommodate a tuner ... it is today in this price range ... No case either.

SOUNDS

Piezo side, the atmosphere is sounding like Ovation. It can range from medium to support the lead crystal with the equalizer.
Lipstick side above but with the punch of a magnetic pickup (sounds crystal are less pronounced than the piezo anyway).
Playing the cursor between two microphones and the equalizer, the sonic possibilities are impressive.
On acoustic amp and direct-console: Excellent on piezo good on lipstick.
Amp lights on "electric" Lipstick on Excellent, surprisingly comfortable in blues / jazz. The piezo can come in lipstick reinforcement for high frequencies. The Kent Armstrong has a good drive, you easily control its saturation. The registry blues / jazz / fusion suits him perfectly. Pushing the lamps, he still holds the road saturations fatter, more rock.
Versatility beautiful sound!

OVERALL OPINION

Used gained, I am very satisfied. In addition to being beautiful and well finished (purchased nearly new), this Crafter rings. The playability is the appointment undeniable versatility and a sound. A guitar playing almost everywhere and all the time

Tip for ceusses like me who can not bear beautiful guitars cover with 2 balls: The Crafter SA-fits perfectly in a case IBANEZ AS-C (as if this case had been made for her). It is good to know because the case scratched Crafter is more expensive and for 3/4 months, found.

To conclude, I would call this guitar "hybrid" excellent tool to fill the amateur or professional. It can effectively replace two guitars in many circumstances. Excellent quality / price ratio ... I advise.
