Nylon strings

OVERALL OPINION

J'utilse two godin 6 years (a multiac steel and nylon). This does well petitre Crafter's Pingle jor for the quarter of the price!
Since I have, I emmne everywhere, and I recommend its purchase those who want the quality without breaking the bank, you will not regret it!
I do it again this choice without hsiter!

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it for six months There's a little under € 400: Happiness!
light, well balanced, a lot of possibilities to play with different sounds through two microphones mixable.excellent access to acute, you can play acoustic in the living room without disturbing others .. I play the same Metallica (with AX 100G) and it sounds!
... And what she is pretty! (Systematically guitarists ask me to try it ..)
short, I'm in love with my guitar and am not prepared to change ...

This is my third Crafter and finishes are always very careful.
I've had a week and I think fine tuning of the action in a while when the handle will acknowledge the change of pulling strings (I play with pulling hard).
The sound is made by a piezo under the saddle. This gives a precise sound, slamming or round depending on the settings of the preamp. But this technology also tends to return too the sound of fingers on the strings. This is not related to this guitar in particular, but this type of sensors.

UTILIZATION

Nut 48mm handle is ideal for nylon. It is far from a supply (43mm) but not torn apart like a true classic (52mm). To be played on a Yamaha AEX300 a 43mm nut, I can confirm that it is a bit narrow for nylon strings are thicker and out more easily if the handle is too narrow.
Radius of curvature of the handle suitable, the handling is very easy. The highs are very accessible. The guitar is light.

SOUNDS

Some of its non-amplified allowing just play alone, but the top is when you plug. I play on a Marshall AS50R but I prefer by far, through my Line 6 Pod XT Live directly on the mixer. I have not yet done with and I do not know its sensitivity to feedback but I guess it reacts as well as his sister rope steel, SA.

OVERALL OPINION

I hesitated between a SA and Godin Multiac it. I had the chance to test the Godin for a few days and I found a few flaws (recurring) not found on the Crafter: light background noise on the microphone, noise on some strings.
A 30% discount on a new Crafter eventually decide. Guitar very homogeneous, easy handling and exceptional quality at this price. This choice I would do without hesitation.
