Blue Cat Audio has released an update for Blue Cat's Freeware Pack II, its free audio plug-ins for Mac and PC.
This release mainly fixes issues that could appear on Pro Tools for Mac in some particular configurations, but is also designed to bring performance improvements to other platforms.
The 6 plug-ins are available for download for free as a single bundle or separately on www.bluecataudio.com, in VST, RTAS, AAX, Audio Unit and DirectX formats (32 and 64-bit).
What’s new in this release:
- AAX/RTAS on Mac: Fixed audio engine freeze or error issue with Pro Tools on some Mac configurations.
- AAX on Mac: Fixed compare button that did not work well when using factory presets or any preset created on Windows.
- Performance improvement when running under high CPU load for other platforms.
