UTILIZATION
everything is very very clear because simple.Il Just take your time and try the different conbinaisons possibles.Si several guitars on several amps you try with different value was enough to occupy the winter evenings. The range sound is not exceptional, fredd judge says so in his specials: the pedal is well-typed and he is right. Editing sounds is easy
SOUND QUALITY
this is where I put a caveat.
I play on a great blues junior tweed gives me the surly grain overdrive low as high volume.Il is stupid (in my opinion) to add an overdrive in tube amp that does not need .... well I did it! I tested it because I wanted to actually have the opportunity to have a second channel on the junior blues: result: even with a very light overdrive
(The kind in repet master volume and two half) the riff Inrush shooter makes its minimum tasteless, worse than the original because polluted by the tone and voice. If the drive is reinforced everything becomes very rough ... not muddy ... loamy.
okay ...... I told myself that I suspected ..... I will use the boost at least clear his history booster (just) the wonderful sound of my little amp, leave the overdrive aside for the day I will not have the blues junior with me ....
and although the boost which boasts of transparency is not transparent at all at all.
rendering the sound is equivalent to that of a pickup or a treble booster so no clean boost.
So how to use this pedal meuiveilleuse?
clear sound; stupid on a tube amp
crunch: the schoolyard boost my wig
crunch +: inoperative overdrive
OVERALL OPINION
I tried one evening on a tele, strat, a 335, les paul with humbucker les paul junior and p90
I kept the strat (it's like that right now I'm strat) tortured all buttons and not really ...... it used to me.
makes it ideal if you have a transistor amp run buy
if you have a very good quality lamps: paste in a kind soul preacher compressor and it does wonders ..... no better boost in my opinion
btw, a oeverdrive ........ it is a compressor.
