I just installed in one of my clients a system that Y253 Y118S + for use in private discothque, and I must say I'm pretty happy with the sound reproduction of all, in terms of price.
Indeed, we found upstream of the hardware of quality Systm average: 2 amps Stage Line STA-1100, Behringer active filter, graphic equalizer bands 2x15 Stage Line (essential to correct the curve rponse) and your exact is really convincing! One suggestion: to maximize the Y253 in assets, it is better to use 2 boxes per ct Y118S because the sensitivity of the heads is more important.
I recommend this faade System to a small orchestra, or the discomobile discothque.
