McDSP has released AAX Native and DSP versions for its Channel G Surround EQ and dynamics processor.

Pro Tools 10/11 and HD-X users can now use the Channel G Surround audio processing plug-in on their platform.

Owners of the Channel G Surround v5 can download this update for free from mcdsp.com.

The Channel G Surround is a 5-band EQ with shelf and parametric sections and also includes high-pass, low-pass and notch filters with 6 to 24dB/octave slopes, an expander/gate, a compressor/limiter and an analog saturation model.

The plug-in is also available in AU, TDM, RTAS and AudioSuite formats and sold $179 when Native and $279 in HD.
