MDrumLeveler is a multi-faceted plugin for treating Drums and percussive audio. Its many different parameters help the user control drum hits, stabilize dynamics and reduce leakage or room ambience. As opposed to traditional compression and EQ, MDrumLeveler utilises transparent, event-based processing techniques that don’t tamper with the overall color and tone of the source material.
MeldaProduction relates MDrumLeveler as a sort of autotune for drummers, allowing the user to manipulate the levels of individual drum hits and improve entire performances. The tone of the performance can be further enhanced by shaping the envelope to increase or decrease the sustain and body of the hits. By default, MDrumLeveler utlizes a look-ahead of 20 ms, but this can adjusted to as low as 5ms for live applications. Below is the full set of features:
