MeldaProduction has released MPhatik, a dynamic multi-effect plug-in that features an amp, a convolution reverb and a compressor.
MPhatik is said to analyse the input level envelope, processes the audio signal, analyse the level envelope of the output and then apply a gain to make the output envelope the same as the input – so in a way it restores the dynamics that is usually lost through the use of any amping/distortion/saturation method.
MPhatik comes with an amp simulator, a convolution reverb (featuring a versatile collection of impulse responses, plus your own files of course) and a compressor. The side-chain input can also be used to drive MPhatik and process the audio with your own tools. It also allows to apply the dynamics of one track to another – allowing for instance to apply a level envelope of drums on a pad to get a rhythmical pad.
As usual with MeldaProduction plugins, MPhatik features M/S mode, surround support as well as other channel modes, A-H presets for easy comparisons, automatic gain compensation and more.
Announced at a MSRP of €99, MPhatik is currently available at the special introductory price of €49. More details at www.meldaproduction.com.
