Producer Fabian Prezja get into DSP development and introduced Virtue, his first free VST plug-in dedicated to compression.
Virtue features several compressor envelopes (FET, OPTO, VCA…), internal sidechain filters and you can control the threshold, ratio, attack, release, hold and gain with linear sliders. Two Knee and Hell horizontal sliders are also available.
Fabian Prezja adds that you can push the compressor up to distortion with extreme values.
Virtue is a 32-bit VST plug-in for Windows, it is available for free download from ocddsp.blogspot.com.
