Scratchpad HD is a new app for iPad that allows for manipulating audio loops and create grooves and beats in real time.
The new app from Cakewalk is mainly designed for urban and electronic music producers (dubstep, hip hop, trap, house, drum and bass). The interface features 9 expression pads on which you will drop loops (you can import content from DropBox) and then use three effects per pad to create stutters, tape stop and scratches.
Two Loop and One Shot playback modes are available and you can choose between three trigger modes: Normal, Momentary and Re-Trigger.
Last, an XY filter pad is present, with high and low-pass filters.
Scratchpad HD supports inter-app audio.
Price: 4.49€
Scratchpad HD is available at the AppStore.
