IK Multimedia has announced the availability at the Google Play Store of its UltraTuner app for Android smartphones.
Available for 4.49 €, the UltraTuner app can be used with any instrument, not only chromatic, and even voices thanks to its monitoring system that tracks the pitch over time. The app uses a dual analysis engine that allows for a 1/100th of a cent detection accuracy, IK Multimedia promises.
The app offers two operation modes: Stage with a simplified GUI that allows for clear visualization in low-light conditions, and Studio with a waveform display and over time pitch variations information.
UltraTuner for Android is available at play.google.com. The app is also available at the Apple AppStore for iOS devices.
