The TGX-99 library features all the sounds sampled from the Yamaha SY-99/TG-77 synthesizers. The instruments were sampled at 24-bit / 96 kHz with the help of an Apogee Rosetta 200 converter and then dithered to 24-bit / 44.1 kHz with the iZotope MBIT+ plug-in. Gospel Musicians adds that the library is based on its Pure Synth Platinum virtual synthesizer and ROMpler platform.
You’ll find all the original raw waveforms, reverb IRs as well as the 128 presets and 64 wave ROM presets. The drum kits are also included in patches.
As for usage, TGX-99 features 4 oscillators in which you’ll combine the different waveforms, two filters and two LFOs per oscillator. The arp and gate can be applied either globally or per oscillator, same for the effects, this depends on the template you choose.
Also note that Gospel Musicians went further with added modulation sources and greater polyphony.
