Sound designer Icebreaker Audio launched Calc-U Synth, a recreation of the Casion VL-Tone programmable calculator/synth for Kontakt 5.
Calc-U Synth includes all the waveform of the original hybrid synth which were sampled chromatically, with a 24-bit / 48kHz resolution. Icebreaker Audio also emulated the VL-Tone programmable synth engine and included 16 cabinet IRs and an effect section with a distortion, a filter and an echo, as well as key noises.
The synth is available for Kontakt 5 and retails for £4.50 at icebreaker-audio.com.
Icebreaker Audio also offers all of its bundles at half price through December 1st.
