According to Rhythmic Robot, this library includes all 48 original factory patches from Roland’s Jupiter 6 polysynth, slightly modifiable with a limited set of controls that includes Tilt EQ, Filter and Amplifier. This is, by the way, the very principle of the Patchvault Series: offering low-priced -yet functionally limited- Kontakt versions of original presets from legendary synths. Velocity-to-volume and Velocity-to-cutoff have also been added for expressivity and responsiveness. As usual, a full copy of Native Instruments Kontakt v4.2.3 or higher (including all versions of Kontakt 5) is required.
While its normal, full price is announced at £9.60, the PatchVault Jupi6 Factory Set is currently available at £7.50 to celebrate both its launching and Valentine’s day. More details (and sound demos) available at Rhythmic Robot’s website.
