Ringheims Auto / ringheimsauto.org has announced the release of Tilt Theremin, a new software synthesizer for the Android platform designed to let you play melodies by tilting the phone from side to side in the air.
Volume can be controlled by sliding your thumb on the controller in the center of the screen. The density of notes is adjustable, and you can slide up or down through all 7 octaves even while you play. There are 6 different sounds to choose from, as well as an echo for those spooky effects. Sensitivity of the accelerometer is adjustable, and support for gyroscope sensor is planned.
Pricing
Tilt Theremin costs NOK10.00 (Norwegian Kroner – approx. $1.80 USD).
