ADQUATION / PERFORMANCE

The software is still very greedy especially given the quality features is very pleasant, I love the kompakt interface. I do not have the computer away from the last generation, and I had no dplorer recurring bugs. Some patches rather long loading times. Nothing serious

NOTICE GLOBAL

Impressive. I believe that putting more than 150 euros for a software that starts to expensive. We complain to buy a dvd-r vulgar to get something virtual, therefore impalpable something which one does not ultimately tie.
But just imagine the thing: On a simple and intuitive interface the cream of the cream on a plate, the sound that vibrates or makes you vibrate, the dcupl with all the possibilities of digital ...

The rendering is superb, infinitely rich and intuitive. The electric pianos yamaha (superbly muls) mls to lgendaires pads of jupiter associated or flourishing of dark moods and so on. We believe it.
The sound is completely faithful and addictive.
I can be an asshole of digital but I know from HIGHLIGHTING that I could never invest in such analog monsters not only a matter of budget but also space.

Nostalgia by Zero G is basically a library of patches that came in wav files and also with .nki files. I am very glad it came with .nki files because I use Kontakt and that is what those files belong to. Nostalgia has some sounds in it that are so amazing, there are some really good synths and basses. There are a ton of presets and presets of all kinds. The Nostalgia Zero G could be great for almost any style of music across the country and will give you a very unique sound. The Nostalgia Zero G runs great and will not give you any issues at all. I do wish it would also come with a pre made exs24 so we could have all of the regular sounds of the instruments without having the effects and everything on it. The Nostalgia Zero G will take a little time to get use to if you are using it as a stand alone, and if you are using it in Kontakt you will have no problems (assuming that since you already have Kontakt that you know how to use it).


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Zero g runs great, I have never had any problems with it as a stand alone or as just using the .nki files or even the .wav files. Everything seems to work great and sound great, and once you get past the small learning curve you will be well on your way.


OVERALL OPINION

I was not happy with the price of this VST though, when it came out I didn’t want to fork out that much money for it so I ended up just putting it on a credit card and paying it off slowly. I don’t feel like it should have cost that much, it was about 50 dollars over priced in my opinion especially when you have to use it with Kontakt in some programs. I have used it with Kontakt 3 and now with Kontakt 4 and it still works great though. The quality of all of the instruments are good, some of them are really good and quit impressive.

I have a Intel based Macbook.  This program installed and functions without any problems.  One thing I should mention though is that I have to use Kontakt 2 to house this plugin to use it in Logic 9.  For some reason, it doesn't show up as its own unit. 
The manual is clear enough and explains how to use the device properly.  There are a lot of options on this guy so its worth the read.
This is not a very simple device so I would say overall it is not simple setup.  Its not crazy hard but it takes a little to get used to and feel comfortable using.
No, I would say the typical functions are not very accessible at first, you need to familiarize yourself with the unit a bit before you can feel strong on it.  There are a ton of patches on this guy though (1.3gb library) so it will be a long journey but  a fun one.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

As a standalone unit it works without any hassle.  As a plugin in my DAW, you have to use Kontakt to play it.  Not a big deal really, just a slight inconvenience. 
Yes, the gear is stable.  No crashes and no audio problems. 
I think this thing is fantastic.  It responds well to my midi controllers and houses tons of awesome vintage patches.  I give it a 10 out of 10.
I have been using it for about a year.


OVERALL OPINION

What I like most about this unit is the excellent patches.  There are hundreds of quality sounds gathered from hundreds of synths throughout the relatively short history of the synthesizer including polyphonic and monophonic synths as well as some top notch drum machines.   I find myself finding a sweet patch, then googling to find out info about the real synth the sound came from. 
I think I paid around $150 bucks on this guy and I say its worth every penny.  So many fun sounds.
Sound quality is great, although I have never heard most of the real versions of the instruments that it is reproducing, I find them to be sonically strong and well created.
I have many software synths that are reproductions of a real instrument, but those are all based on just one instrument at a time.  This is the first plugin that is dedicated to reproducing a vast array of vintage instruments, so I guess I have to say no, this is the first one I have tried.
I would definitely make the same choice again.  Even if it only had the drum machines that are included.  There are just too many fantastic sounds to pass on this synth.
