8DIO will add next week to its Claire Woodwind Series an oboe library for Kontakt.
Named Oboe Virtuoso, this new collection features samples of an oboe played with two legato types (lyrical and strong) and recorded with three microphone positions (close, decca and wide). 8DIO included its proprietary legato system that allows for blending legato with sustains, natural legatos, swells…
The library also includes staccato, marcato, trills and various noise samples.
The price of Claire Oboe Virtuoso is still to be announced, but 8DIO says that users of the 8Dioboe library will get a special discount. Full details and demos will be available on January 15th, 2014.
