Distortion / OD of tube power supply adapter (supplied and standard) with 3-band EQ and adjustable noise gate. Fairly complete.

UTILIZATION

One branch, the rule and we play. Simple as a pedal. The EQ has a lot of margin settings, but the original pedal is quite aggressive in the treble knob, and I did not exceed 2. The gain level is high enough for cons to type hard rock heavy enough typed 80/90 years. And a metal OD and more prevail, or at least a lamp with higher gain (which is very easy to find) because it does not lack anything. With the original lamp is going to put a 7, and after change (for a JJ ECC83 standard) a good 9. The lamp has a really big effect on the sound, because after changing my sharp fall between 4 and 5 and my lower back to 6 instead of 8.

Average rating: 8

SOUND QUALITY

In fact, if we look a the typical hard-rock type Marshall hot-rod, then one is well served with the gain to the cleat. The OD is quite beautiful and very flexible to play and make big rhythmic Hendrixiennes is really a treat with the gain around the middle strata and micro serious. Sounds to Santana and Gary Moore are also. Short of any good and the price / quality ratio is pretty impressive. The noise gate keeps it all quiet and allows for example recording without background noise.

OVERALL OPINION

What a great pedal tube saturation, which benefits greatly from lamp to upgrade a less aggressive and with a little more gain. Originally pedal already deserves a good 8, but after upgrade the lamp is required on September 1.
