Fuzz pedal, especially made for bass by Mark Earthbound Audio (now Acid Age).

There have been several version of the pedal:
Earthbound Audio models:
__v1: mids switch
__v2: mids knob instead of the switch (the one pictured)
__Sur The latest models v2: the gain knob becomes linear for a faster run.
__v3: Added clipping LED & slight boost gain

Changes on the Acid Age version Supercollider:
- Case smallest
- LED Option clipping
- The Level knob becomes linear for a faster run.
- The tone knob is changed to a larger race.

The sound of all these versions is the same. The only difference is that the gain 1: 1 arrives faster on the last pay.

Fully analog.
Super simple connection ... an inlet, an outlet, all in jack.
Power 9v negative tip (standard Boss) or 9v battery.

Now at Acid Age there 2 versions: the SC, close to this one, and '71, a slightly different circuit more suitable for guitars.
Mark has developed his model for the Acid Age release because he liked the sound with more bass when the effect is, with certain effects.
At 12 am, the sound is the same as that of other previous versions, also at 12.

UTILIZATION

Super easy!
So that there is no manual ... It's a Big Muff improved.
Not need any special skills to use them, a good pair of ears enough!
The sound is !!!

The tone knob works like a classic Muff control with bass more present at 7am and acute longer present at 5am.
The tone knob present on the SC model limited the race between what would now be 9 and 3 on the Acid Age model.
The reason for this change is that Mark thought the most useful settings are trouaivent to 12pm.

SOUND QUALITY

This is the effect Big Muff, with more options, and it does it well.
Used with a low, the sound palette is relatively wide even if the pedal is only Fuzz.
Perfect for sludge, stoner, doom, drone ... Black Sabbath, Down and others are not far away.
There is nothing to throw in the sounds produced by this pedal.
There are a lot of Fuzz shop today; this one is among the first to allow sounds Fuzz exploitable group and with more possibilities.
As some effects, a worn 9V battery or power supply to simulate wear allows a good lofi but always with its superb grain.

OVERALL OPINION

I tried a lot of fuzz before this one and it remains me harm in trying!
But setting options make this a must. Furthermore it is a time loop cloned while at 12 there is a difference between what is done today.
The better the sound, much more versatile than the Big Muff without losing the grain.
Gain and fat !!!
