Rglages simple.
The sound is easy to find.

SOUND QUALITY

It is my opinion the best sounding overdrive of the plant and the rest of the universe!
Some find that lack of gain, but this is not done for any dchirer. is the grain, and prsence is used in all styles.

The highlight of the tube screamer SERIES is not dnaturer the sound of your guitar! You always hear frquences types of instrument!
With double coils (Les paul type) or large single (like Fender Jazzmaster) obviousness puts a lump in the lower mdium just enchrir dj sound exceptional!

OVERALL OPINION

More on sale today (replacing the TS7) the economic NT5 silent version of legendary TS9 (box mtal). And have fun ds that make the comparison possible. SOUND QUALITY

-Effect efficace.Dans very family-roots super overdrive light is very good.

-I play with for 10 years, is a natural extension of my little blackface (it is always connctée.).
It allows me to saturate the tube amp at low volumes with its creamy and enjoyable.
In short, with a Start and a blackface is the dream team. (But it should be even better with the TS9 or 808 ... °

I bought this one for the pedals "lamp" when I played on a small transistor amp ... and lower cot! Even if today I played on a light amplifier, I continue to use it.

OVERALL OPINION

I own two, the first for at least 15 years, the second for 5 years or so, it paid € 10 in cash converter.
Underestimated, they are great pedals, plastic, but solid (except for my problem chti support jack in, good moo, after over 15 years of service, I do not blame him).

I also have a Jacques Tube Blower, which is clearly above, manufacturing quality level and sound (and price too), an old Ibanez MS10 Japan, spirit with a bit of gain and which is indestructible with its metal case .
I have owned (as to the past forgotten in the local rehearsal here approx 2 years ... a boo ....) Ibanez TS10 Japan, almost identical in sound, almost, for the benefit of ... TS5.

The NT5 broadly support the comparison (except for Jacques it must be said), I do not know if I differentiate in a blind test. It's more a matter of taste or color of sound and quality. They rate overdrive the lowest of the lot. They also have a dirty side in a less perfect / clean the Jacques eg, which gives a great blues side. It is this aspect flaw that makes them typed, and makes them more.

Note, a TS5 (not equipped with the famous jrc4558) sounds a bit better than the other (which has the JRC): a bit warmer, more dynamic, I do not know why.

Sounds great, cheap, solid. They underestimated I think their made in Taiwan.

SOUND QUALITY

Good, sound. Caution There's the purists that cost.
I had a TS9 and I possde a TS10 (my prfre). I know the TS808 too.
And well, frankly, that s not too ashamed before his sisters.
The grain is the hot crmeux (in English they say, smooth), ideal for blues or rock n 'roll the old one. Lights on an amp you type SRV without problem (it's near the trs of "China Girl"). A little less gain than a TS 10, TS 808 less than subtle but you'd be surprised at the similarity between these devices.
S'crase sound a little low. It may be a inconvnient for some but personally I think it's an advantage for the rhythmic Chuck Berry in power-chords. The bass is better dtachent mix.
The treble is not at all aggressive and with a neck pickup is a stratum rgal.

OVERALL OPINION

Voil pedals this is certainly not the best of SERIES Tube Screamer, but it is good when even.
Only inconvnient, mine is in the closet because of relgue switch dfectueux and good, I do not really want to do it because I rpar possde others.
The report price is good quality for sound, less well for the technical reliability.
But the whole SERIES Sound Tank is actually like.

This pedal is like most others - it has the standard 1/4" in and out. Controls are volume, tone, and drive. Has a stomp switch for on and off, which feels extremely flimsy. Cheapo plastic housing. I'm marking off for the housing and switch, but I realize in making them out of plastic, Ibanez makes the product more affordable.

UTILIZATION

The TS5 is an extremely simple unit. It is your basic Tube Screamer pedal. It is very easy to use - plug in, step on it, and wail! Not much rocket surgery to be performed here - it is very straightforward. It will provide signal boost, extra sustain, and more gain.

SOUND QUALITY

This sounds great on guitars and bass. My favorite use for this pedal is to experiment with modifications! I "circuitbent" this, and got some out of this world fuzz tones, interesting bit-crushing type gated sounds, and a very vocal tone sweep. So it is fantastic for that.

However, most people will use it as a standard overdrive box, and it's not bad at that - it is warm, round, and lets the notes sing just a bit. It seems like a very small tube amp that's cranked - it has that nice note-bloom quality. It can be a touch muddy, but that's expected at this price, right?

OVERALL OPINION

As a stock box, my opinion is mixed. The sounds are good, but the housing stinks! I'd never want to take this to a gig as-is because I fear that the plastic would shatter from repeated stompings. The pedal has not been made for a while, and I wish Ibanez would reissue it in an upgraded housing.

When modded, the sounds are FANTASTIC, and I just ended up rehousing mine anyways. I'd buy another again for cheap just to mod, but not to keep stock.

Pedal all digital, editable via firewire on mac ... Non j'déconne.

Over drive light distortion type, suitable for blues, jazz and vintage styles. Pedal jacks plastic base with 2 (E / S) and a power supply transformer or 9V battery (handy: no need for screwdriver). The model TS-5 was the reissue modernized TS-9 before IBAN decided to make an exact reprint. At the time, I tried the 2 (beginning of the reissue TS-9) and that one had packed more.
