« Green Overdrive is gray »
Published on 09/06/14 at 06:08As in the original model: a volume control, one tone and one drive.
First originality, the presence of a switch that goes from a TS-like sound the same but more open.
The second is the internal converter 9 to 18V.
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use, I used as drive-boost for my crunch and lead sounds, it adds a little dirt, mediums and allows better out of the mix.
It has a setting drive and pushed a volume that would be really boosted the + 18db I would hardly surprised.
SOUND QUALITY
It's a tube screamer with a more pronounced personality is at least as it is presented as.
I bought it for its open obtained with the switch and that was the only fault I found with my OD808, coupled with the internal converter 9 to 18V we also have more headroom.
OVERALL OPINION
The absence of my OD808 have been erased by the Moonshine. If like me you feel restrained with Maxon or Ibanez or one of the many copies of the TS Moonshine is an option to consider.
In my case I found my overdrive pedal for long.
