Marshall plexi head simulator.
super effective to thicken the sound of his amp as it approaches the characteristic sound of Marshall plexi head.
The one I use has a switch "boost" in addition to allowing use of the solo.
This pedal gives you a base of grain thanks to the excellent frequency but it brings a pedal is needed if we are to a large distortion.

UTILIZATION

simple config ... one volume, one tone, a drive ...
a second drive for the boost channel which reduces the grain but it's not a distortion! ...
it has a low frequency changing switch.

SOUND QUALITY

AC / DC is to go with your guitar! ...
Van Halen To add a TS 9 or a Big Muff and it works very well! ...

OVERALL OPINION

This is a very useful pedal that I keep in my arsenal that I use regularly and especially in the studio, engaged directly on the table it is simply excellent.
I also tried the model "blue", simulation VOX AC 30 which is more commonplace for my taste, which is closer to one TS 9 but with his "britisch" ...
I also tried the "blackface" but I was not convinced. The taste and color! ....
the "Gold" meets my expectations in simulation Marshall plexi, coupled with any amp it gives me what it takes in terms of frequency, dynamics and grain.
Very good pedal for those who want improve the sound of his amp in "Marshall Plexi".
