This is an overdrive that is more traditional sound that can only "dirty" a clean or push a bit more to the distortion ...
This pedal has an analog input and output jack and an input transformer 9v Boss typed.
UTILIZATION
The manual is not really useful in that it is enough to play with the knobs to find a sound that suits the user.
The knobs have a balanced race (no change to 1 - 5 of roughly 1 mm), and are resistant.
The case is metal, so durable, the access door is well thought out, like the Boss: a screw to close it.
The diode is discrete, red, but can still be seen.
SOUND QUALITY
The overdrive is very nice, well balanced, and as I mentioned before, one can obtain a range of sounds from clean sound a little fuzzy to distortion (of course it is not suitable for high- Gain as imprecise).
Either with single or dual microphones, it behaves perfectly.
It responds well to the attack (how you attack the strings with the pick or finger) and is dynamic.
In short, it is really cool as far as I am, and I did not intend to part with it for now.
The only small negative point, it delivers a volume rather low compared to other pedals I own, to see if this problem is common to the series or not.
OVERALL OPINION
It's been about a year she has a place on my pedalboard, and yet it need not be afraid to be replaced.
