Published on 11/10/14 at 01:38Clone of the famous Tube Screamer improved by two options: Fat bass and releasing video that gives more body to the sound. Pedal assembly kit yourself and option to purchase already assembled
UTILIZATION
3 knob (Drive, Tone and Level) plus 2 switch to engage the two options (Fat and video). A very clear and regularly updated manual is available on the Techniguitare site.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound quality is superb. I use an Ibanez Roadstar II Series single microphone (Channel and environment) are more than safe and definition, when the bridge pickup (Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates) it gains definition. One has the impression that the sound is "spatial" that envelops you.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for a week and the sound is really terrible, used on Line 6 in Speder IV 30w modeling the sound is transcended by the pedal (facade). The sound is much warmer (you would think a tube amp) even clean the drive to 0. I also have a MXR Custom Badass 78 that I love, but I admit that this has become the youngest pampers my pedalboard.
Without hesitation I would do this choice, the pleasure of being able to build something with his hands just add a quality sound. For those who do not have the soul of a handyman, the pedal already rising costs less than the original TS with more adjustability sounds
