JUST REPLACED A PAIR OF MIN-BUCKERS IN MY LES PAUL, WITH A PAIR OF WILKINSON P-90'S AND COULDN'T BE MORE DELIGHTED. NOTHING AGAINST MINI-BUCKERS, BUT THEY
JUST DIDN'T DO THE JOB FOR BLUES AND MOST JAZZ SONGS, THAT I PLAY. THE WILKINSONS
RATE 8.9 IN THE BRIDGE AND 8.1 IN THE NECK, SO HIGH GAIN DOESN'T TAKE IT WHERE
INDIVIDUAL NOTES, DON'T GET "MUDDLED". THE MINIS HAVE VERY LITTLE NOTE ARTICULATION, AND THAT'S WHERE THEY FAIL. THE WILKINSONS ARE VERY RESONABLE
PRICE WISE, WITHOUT BEING "OVER THE TOP". THERE ARE MORE EXPENSIVE P-90'S FOR SURE, BUT WHEN ALL SAID AND DONE, THE HIGH OUTPUT REALLY ISN'T NEEDED.
TRY THE WILKINSONS, YOU WILL BE COMPLETELT SATISFIED.
