Published on 05/01/11 at 12:39Firstly, I would talk about this return as drum sound, in fact, I used to amplify my Yamaha DTXplorer only at home (no concert or another for now).
I use it recently, since it is fairly recent.
I had already tried other models, it gave me a 30w amp for battery, very unconvincing. Rather "powerful" for the 30w (we heard from afar) but saturated very quickly and suggesting horrible bass ... even without the push ...
What I like most: The sound quality of AM 150 is excellent! The bass is very powerful, and the sound is very intense! The advantage is that it has a setting of Low, Medium and High Frequencies, no need for mixer input, anything can be done via the speaker. Another very interesting thing, you can plug in another forum, not amplified, and then serves the Box Amplifier (on its own speaker and the speaker connected to OUT). I also add that it has a small wrist on the side, rather practical given the size of the camera! And finally: The price, 166 € for this one, 130 for the 120W model, really, I think these products are clearly outside competition.
What I like least: The size and weight. Indeed, the machine is huge! Don'ts for small houses (or small cars for those who use the road). Very very big, especially at home. I personally almost booked a room at the music so it goes, but if you buy a battery for electro compact, amplified speaker system that will fill the spaces that you saved!
Value for money I feel unbeatable, nothing wrong.
With experience ... I not so good experience with this model yet but I think my opinion will consolidate over time: Yes I would do this choice with your eyes closed.
(9 / 10, not 10 because that time amply battery, it is big anyway).
