Hello
I had a POWERMAX 5 but without the PM2600 amp that goes with it. I used a DIGAM D4002 (2x600 rms into 8 ohms). The power is phenomenal and the sound quality very good. The only downside is that the lack of compression 2 inches high end. should boost the area just to get the shine. Compared to the M PRO 415 JBL to look better thanks to its 1-inch compression. However, do not spoil our fun, this system works very well.
Its strong points:
1 / The crossover of the subwoofer to filter the satellite units above 160Hz. Apparently, the association sat + box is not 4 but 8 ohms. This avoids overloading the amp feeding them but in this case there must be an amp that can emerge as the 2x700 in 8 L2400 (or from home EV P3000). However, HP EV used inside are of high sensitivity which allows for levels consistent with a 2x300 amp rms into 8 ohms.

For the wedding up to 150 people, a box enough for me. If you want to fully enjoy the power of 400 W SAT (for a group outdoors for example) is actually four boxes are required.
