I received this week. I had high expectations of this new laptop, given the problems I had with my Dell Inspiron 6400 ( cf. I think ( https://pc-portable.dell.audiofanzine.com/produits/avis/index%2Cidproduit%2C87457.html ) ).
So eager to try the sound card with this new laptop, I install the driver, spotless, but it crashes at the updated firmware. I try again later, but in any case, it works, and that's not nothing. No problem listening. The card is immediately recognized. Moreover, to make a small comparison with the Dell, the firewire port does not seem determined to block, but then not at all. Good.
Then the famous story of the games. I had a history of ATI can do it comfortably, I'm not disappointed at all: it shows clear is clean, it's beautiful.
Vista, Vista ... Once we got rid of all the safety thing-thing 5 times a confirmation request for the modification of a parameter, and bunch of software installed by default in the Bécanne, there is something about functional. Most software is now patched, I do not have many problems with the OS.
Small juicy details: the 1.3 megapixel webcam and microphone, touch multimedia buttons, keypad, and integrated speakers Harman / kardon, real small bowls 2''or less and have a potato incredible. With electro, kick and bass are still ahead, and jazz, we hear the bass solo is not anything on the speaker phone. Detail is nice. Finally, the overall design of the machine is very successful. In short, I'm glad of that computer. Price / quality ratio, I have not seen better since I got it at 850 €. To what boards, it's downright good.
I will come, if necessary, update the opinion if I have problems, or if, on the contrary, I have good surprises ...
